Fresh off of a swift knockout win in Germany, Brazil's Iuri Alcantara returns to his home country for a September 13th showdown with Russell Doane in a bantamweight bout. The UFC confirmed the new fight yesterday via their Brazilian Twitter account.

Alcantara (31-5, 1 NC) is unbeaten in 4 of his 5 bantamweight matches. His last outing was an instant knockout of Vaughan Lee at UFC Fight Night in Berlin, Alcantara's only defeat in the weight class was a decision against Urijah Faber last August. The 33-year-old has fought at featherweight, where he defeated Michihiro Omigawa, and even lightweight, where he knocked out Ricardo Lamas in the WEC and also submitted Francisco Trinaldo in Jungle Fights.

Doane (14-3) has won his first two UFC bouts, submitting Leandro Issa in Singapore and then getting the split decision call vs. Marcus Brimage on the UFC 175 main card. The 27-year-old out of Hawaii has also fought the likes of Jared Papazian, Michinori Tanaka, and Tyson Nam.

UFC Fight Night Brasilia is headlined by a heavyweight rematch between Antonio Silva and Andrei Arlovski, and co-headlined by lightweights Piotr Hallmann and Gleison Tibau. While this card does air on a Saturday night, an otherwise standard time-slot for Fox Sports 1 cards, the whole event will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass.
