UFC on FOX 13 scheduled for December 13 in Phoenix

Following the conclusion of Saturday night's UFC on FOX 12 show, Dana White revealed that the next network date would be Saturday, December 13 in Phoenix, Arizona.

The UFC President did not announce any match-ups for the broadcast but appeared excited for the promotion's first trip to Phoenix.

"This is the UFC's first trip to Phoenix," White stated at the post-fight presser. "They have been chirping at me for a long time. Here we come Phoenix."

The UFC has two notable fighters from that region - Ben Henderson and Ryan Bader - both of whom are scheduled to headline Fight Night cards in August. This could give them enough time to fight in front of their hometown crowd at the end of the year.

The December show is a sort of tradition for the UFC on FOX series, as this will mark the third one on that month in three years. The first December show was UFC on FOX:  Henderson vs. Diaz, while the second took place in 2013 and was UFC on FOX: Johnson vs. Benavidez.

UFC on FOX 13 takes place December 13 at the U.S. Airways Arena in Phoenix, Ariz.
