It's been a little over a month since EA Sports UFC was first released to the public, and a few days ago EA Sports put out a very interesting Infographic detailing some facts and figures based on how users are playing the game. One of the standout stats is Bruce Lee, who is the game's special unlockable character, is the most popular fighter chosen among gamers. Here's the complete top 10 after more than 65 million bouts:
1.) Bruce Lee (3.41 million)
2.) Jon Jones (3.40 million)
3.) Georges St-Pierre (3.40 million)
4.) Anderson Silva (3.04 million)
5.) Alexander Gustafsson (2.47 million)
6.) B.J. Penn (2.43 million)
7.) Anthony Pettis (2.27 million)
8.) Jose Aldo (2.06 million)
9.) Demetrious Johnson (1.81 million)
10.) Cain Velasquez (1.61 million)
Lee is playable at flyweight, bantamweight, featherweight, and lightweight. The legendary martial artist was available through pre-order, otherwise users could play as Lee by either purchasing him online or completing career mode on hardest difficulty.
One notable omission from the top 10 list is Ronda Rousey, who along with Renan Barao, were the only champion (at the time of the full roster reveal) who did not crack this list. Barao was two weeks removed from losing his belt to T.J. Dillashaw, who wasn't even on the game and was just added in the latest roster update.
Other highlights include:
- The most common submission is the kimura from side control.
- The top 10 countries that most often play the game. France is one of those countries, and MMA is still banned there.
- Roughly 54% of all bouts have ended in either KO or TKO.
