It's not often that the UFC being bumped off of Fox Sports 1 can be construed as a positive, but this could definitely be one of those rare exceptions. Due to a Major League Baseball doubleheader, the UFC on Fox 12 preliminary card will be broadcast on the Fox network in addition to the night's main card, which is headlined by Robbie Lawler and Matt Brown.
This marks the first time a UFC on Fox preliminary card has aired on the main network. Previously, UFC on Fox prelims aired on Facebook, Fuel TV, FX, and presently Fox Sports 1. The "main event" of the prelims is a lightweight showdown between Daron Cruickshank and Jorge Masvidal.
