The criticism levelled at Chael Sonnen in the wake of his second failed drug test of 2014 just keeps on going.
As if being forced into retirement, fired from his roles as an analyst for FOX and suffering widespread criticism from media and fans alike wasn't enough, one of Sonnen's co-analysts Brian Stann tweeted the below today:
Adversity reveals true character, if your first instinct is to lie or hide, then you have some serious flaws

When prompted, Stann gave a definite response to FOX's decision to fire Sonnen:
"@AverageJoeArt: @BrianStann do you think UFC/FOX making an example of Chael is just?" Yes, absolutely no other choice imo

Earlier this week Stann appeared on the MMA Roasted podcast and said he felt Wanderlei Silva was likely using steroids in their March 2013 bout, a second round stoppage victory for Wanderlei which prompted Stann's retirement.
You have to wonder how Stann feels about his loss to Sonnen back at UFC 136 in 2011.
Sonnen received a TRT exemption for the fight with Stann, which came subsequent to Chael's first failed drugs test, for elevated testosterone levels after the first Anderson Silva bout at UFC 117.
Sonnen had been booked to face Wanderlei Silva Vitor Belfort at this Saturday's UFC 175.
