MMAnitoba Spotlight: Roland Delorme

Roland Delorme began his professional MMA career in 2008. In just under two years he amassed an impressive 6-0 record. Finishing all six fights in the first or second round. In October 2010, Roland was handed his first loss. A split decision to Eric Wilson at CFC 6, in Winnipeg, MB. Back in those days, Delorme was an owner/operator of a pizza restaurant. It was located in the small town of Niverville, about twenty minutes south of Winnipeg.

In March of 2011, Roland put his pizza business on the back burner to chase down a dream. The dream of fighting in the coveted Octagon. Delorme attended the open try outs for TUF 14, and submitted B.J. Ferguson in the first round of the bantamweight elimination fight. With that victory, he secured his spot in the house. Roland was eventually selected to be part of team Miller. He faced newly crowned bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw in the quarter finals. Where He lost the hard fought battle by submission in the second round.

Since appearing on TUF, Delorme has put together a UFC record of 3-1-0-1NC. With wins over Josh Ferguson, Nick Denis, and Edwin Figueroa. Add in the fact that in three victories, he's had two submission wins. We all know that two outta three ain't bad. But seriously, this guy is always looking to break limbs, or choke you all the way to dream land.
