This fight marks the 46th pro fight for the greatest fighter of our generation, Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather has been surprisingly active as of late, and is coming off a big win over Canelo Alvarez last fall. There's talk that perhaps the undefeated fighter is looking to extend his record to 50-0 and then call it quits. If that is indeed the case, then this marks one of his final 5 fights. Hard to say what the future holds, but Mayweather is certainly a must watch right now. His opponent, Marcos Maidana, is an incredibly gutsy, durable fighter. He has the proverbial puncher's chance against Mayweather, and is coming off a win over Adrien Broner, but his chances here are slim. Still, he should make for an exciting fight.
