UFC's Dana White claims Ronda Rousey would 'hurt Floyd Mayweather really bad' in a 'real fight'

The UFC president echos claims by Jon Jones and Joe Rogan that Ronda Rousey "will hurt Floyd" in a " a street fight, a mixed martial arts fight" although he concedes that Mayweather would beat her in a boxing match.

We've been having the boxing vs MMA debate for a long time. UFC boss Dana White declared the matter settled after Randy Couture demolished former boxing champ James Toney at UFC 118. Now Dana is upping the ante by saying that the top women's MMA champ could beat the best male boxer in the smaller divisions.

Dana Went on ESPN's Sports Nation and dropped the following bomb, "You put Ronda Rousey in any fight situation - a street fight, a mixed martial arts fight. Not only does she beat Floyd, she'll hurt Floyd really bad."

White, of course, had to add a caveat, "but you take Ronda Rousey and you put her in a boxing match, obviously we know what's going to happen there. But a real fight, Ronda Rousey will hurt Floyd. I don't know if anyone has seen Floyd in real life, but he's [a smaller guy]. If Ronda gets her hands on him, she'll hurt him. I've seen her throw big men and hurt them."

Dana's not the first UFC figure to go on a sports talk show and make the same claim. Both Joe Rogan and Jon Jones are picking Rousey in a street fight. Jones did it on Fox and Rogan did it on ESPN.

Mayweather usually fights at 151 pounds, Rousey fights at 135 pounds.
