UFC on Fox 11: Werdum vs. Browne live results and play-by-play for the main card

Tune into Bloody Elbow for live coverage of tonight's UFC on Fox 11 out of Orlando, FL. The night's main event features a Heavyweight battle between Fabricio Werdum and Travis Browne.

UFC on Fox 11 takes place tonight out of the Amway Center in Orlando, FL. In the main event, Fabricio Werdum takes on Travis Browne in what's expected to be a Heavyweight contendership fight. Werdum is currently ranked as the number two fighter in the division with "Hapa" just behind him at number three.

As with every major event, Bloody Elbow will provide live updates and results for all of tonight's action. The main card kicks off on Fox at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT). The co-main event features a women's bantamweight title fight between former contenders Miesha Tate and Liz Carmouche. The card is rounded out by a Lightweight fight between Donald Cerrone and Edson Barboza while Middleweights Brad Tavares and Yoel Romero kick off the show.

Brad Tavares vs. Yoel Romero

Round 1 - Tepid start. Tavares was putting together combos but not landing much, while Romero was throwing kicks. Big straight left from Romero and he followed it up with a couple more before he just threw Tavares to the mat. Tavares got up, but Romero threw him back down with a body lock. Tavares got up again but Romero was glued to his back. Tavares escaped and landed a nice knee. Romero tied him up and put him back down. 10-9 Romero.

Round 2 - Romero got an immediate takedown. Tavares got up after about 45 seconds or so. Tavares connected with a knee. Romero baited him in and cracked Tavares with an elbow. Romero with a jump and a solid right connected when he landed. Big combination from Romero. They stalled out against the cage when Tavares looked for a takedown. Flying knee from Tavares. They clinched up again. 10-9 Romero.

Round 3 - Tavares had a takedown stuffed and Romero roughed him up against the cage. Solid right from Tavares. Neither man threw much of anything for a while, but Romero got a takedown with two minutes to go. Tavares got up and they clinched against the cage. Tavares missed with a spinning kick. Left landed for Romero and he threw Tavares to the mat again. 10-9 and 30-27 Romero.

Yoel Romero defeats Brad Tavares by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Donald Cerrone vs. Edson Barboza

Round 1 - They got to brawling right away. Barboza clocked Cerrone and had him stunned a bit. Cerrone looked for a takedown but couldn't get there. Front kick from Barboza. Cerrone with a right, but Barboza responded with a hard counter. Three hard punches from Barboza. Spinning back kick to the gut from Edson. Cerrone with a stiff jab that floored Barboza! Just like that he jumped him and sunk a choke! And it's over. Wow. That was crazy.

Miesha Tate vs. Liz Carmouche

Round 1 - Leg kicks from both ladies to start. They tied up against the cage and Carmouche got a takedown. They just stalled out there and not much was happening. Tate finally got up with two minutes to go, but Carmouche stayed stuck to her back and landed a few knees to the thigh. Carmouche with another takedown. Tate got back to her feet but they went back down again. 10-9 Carmouche.

Round 2 - Tate got backed against the cage by Carmouche. Tate turned it around but they were doing a whole lot. A couple of lefts landed for Tate after they broke Carmouche got another takedown, but Tate got up quickly. Again though, Carmouche stayed glued to her back and got it back down. Tate looked for a standing guillotine. She dropped down and cranked on it. Carmouche rolled through and Tate ended up on top, but Carmouche got up quickly and took Tate's back again though. 10-9 Carmouche.

Round 3 - Tate with a solid right to start. Tate pinned Liz against the cage but ate some elbow. Tate got her down into side control. Tate took her back and looked to sink a choke. She couldn't get her arm under the chin so she went back to softening her up with punches. Tate adjusted and got her arm under the chin but couldn't get Liz to tap. Tate transitioned to an armbar but Carmouche defended. 10-9 Tate, but I have Liz winning the fight 29-28.

Fabricio Werdum vs. Travis Browne

Round 1 - Werdum opens with a straight right while Browne landed a kick. Werdum connected with a couple of shots. Browne with a big right. Browne hurt Werdum with a punch and jumped all over him. Werdum got up and immediately got a takedown. He worked in half guard with a few punches. Browne escaped and got back to his feet. Browne missed with a massive uppercut. Werdum with a big kick to the body. Werdum caught a kick and then just let go of it. Both men were landing big shots and doing a bit of taunting. Huge uppercut from Werdum. Spinning back kick and a huge right stuns Browne. He fired right back though at the horn. Excellent round, 10-9 Werdum.

Round 2 - Leg kick from Werdum after a nut shot. Head kick from Browne. Werdum with a takedown and took his back. He stayed on top in half guard. He passed out to side and looked to land a few punches. Browne escaped to the feet but he looked exhausted. Jab from Werdum. Knee from Werdum at the horn. 10-9 Werdum.

Round 3 - Werdum with a big combination to start. Leg kick and spinning backfist from Werdum that both connected. Werdum connected with a right hook.Werdum used a spinning sweep kick but got pushed down by Browne. After Browne declined his invitation to come to the ground, Werdum kipped up. That actually happened. Werdum landed a few more big strikes and got a brief takedown. Browne had nothing on his punches. Big knee from Werdum. Body kick. Huge combo from Werdum after he said something to him. 10-9 Werdum.

Round 4 - Double jab from Werdum. Browne looked a little more lively than the last round, but he wasn't landing much. Werdum landed a few strikes here and there, mixing in kicks to the body. Kick to the cup from Browne. Werdum scooped a single but couldn't get the takedown. Big right from Browne, but Werdum dodged two kicks with ease. 10-9 Werdum.

Round 5 - Werdum with a quick takedown, but Browne got up just as quickly. Two solid rights from Werdum.Leg kick from Browne. Werdum landed a few jabs and had a takedown attempt stuffed. Pretty triple jab and a right from Werdum. Two more big rights from Werdum. Kick to the body. Glancing head kick landed for Browne. Hapa's face was a bloody mess. Browne tried to turn it up before the horn but he just didn't have the energy. 10-9 Werdum, and 50-45 overall. Domination.
