Floyd Mayweather: Adrien Broner should 'work a little bit harder in the gym'

Hear from Floyd Mayweather in this video interview. Mayweather discusses his upcoming fight with Marcos Maidana, plus shares thoughts on Canelo Alvarez, Adrien Broner, and Amir Khan.

On May 3, boxing king Floyd Mayweather returns to PPV to take on Marcos Maidana. The 45-0 Mayweather is in the closing stages of his incredible career, and will now face the KO power of the tough Maidana.

Never short on words, and an expert at fight promotion, Mayweather has begun the promotion for the Mayweather vs. Maidana PPV. Our friends at FightHub TV have video from Mayweather discussing the fight. Check out the full video interview with Fight Hub's Marcos Villegas and Floyd Mayweather right here at Bloody Elbow.

A few highlights, including some interesting words about Adrien Broner:

On the Canelo fight:

I don't want to grade myself for the Canelo fight, I just want to say that Canelo is a hell of a fighter. Canelo is a true champion and he will be a world champion again.

On Maidana:

He's a solid competitor, a tough, rugged guy. He's going to come to fight May 3... He was unbelieveable in the Broner fight.

On Adrien Broner:

I think he should come back and work a little bit harder in the gym on his offense and his defense.

On Amir Khan:

Amir Khan is 2-2 in his last 4 fights whereas Maidana is 4-0 with 3 KOs, so I feel like we chose the better guy.

Join us in the coming months as we get ready for Mayweather vs. Maidana, live on PPV May 3.
