Tonight at UFC 169, Ricardo Lamas didn't have what it took to beat Jose Aldo for the UFC featherweight title. Aldo dominated the vast majority of the fight, working Lamas over with a brutal assault of leg kicks. The champion was able to build a comfortable lead heading into the fifth round.
Lamas was able to spend some time in top position in the final frame, but it was not enough as Aldo took a wide unanimous decision.
