BE's Baddest Greatest Submission Fighter Tournament: #3 Rousimar Palhares vs #6 Ricco Rodriguez

Vote now in the Bloody Elbow Baddest Tournament to determine the Greatest MMA Submission Fighter of All Time. Today's match-up: #3 Rousimar Palhares vs. #6 Ricco Rodriguez. Vote now!

June M. Williams

The latest tournament fight was the 2001 Pride vs. UFC mega-dream fight, as #1 seed Kazushi Sakuraba took on Frank Shamrock. And in this battle of grappling supremacy, it was the Gracie Hunter who stood tall, taking out Shamrock by an absolutely crushing score of 106-6. Seriously, 106-6. That is destruction folks.

Today, an interesting battle of new school vs old school. Representing the new is the #3 seed Rousimar Palhares. He looks to use his vicious leglock assault to take out former UFC Heavyweight champion and #6 seed Ricco Rodriguez. Winner moves on to the Sweet 16 - your votes choose who will advance.

In order to vote, simply leave a comment. In the subject line make sure you follow these guidelines:
