Well, that didn't take long. Many were wondering if Todd Duffee's long layoff would see him return as a different fighter. He didn't - he looked pretty much the same as he did before. His UFC 181 bout with Anthony Hamilton lasted just 33 seconds, with Duffee picking up the KO victory.
Duffee (9-2) was stepping into the cage for the first time since late 2012 after dealing with a rare disorder. Both men came out swinging as expected, but it was Duffee that made first contact. Hamilton did actually open up a cut on Duffee's forehead, but then ate a huge right that sent him crumpling to the mat. Duffee landed a couple more shots, but it was already over by then.
Duffee has picked up all three of his UFC victories by KO or TKO. Hamilton (13-3) dropped to 1-2 in the octagon, with his lone victory coming over Ruan Potts.
