Resurrection Fighting Alliance held its 21st event on Friday evening in California and showcased a variety of enthralling match-ups, including a headlining contest for the vacant lightweight title.
Arguably the top Arab MMA prospect in the entire sport, Mehdi Baghdad, was victorious in the main event against wrestling-based Zach Juusola. His vicious fourth round TKO finish of Juusola earned him the 155-pound title in RFA and will likely set him up for a UFC debut in 2015.
Baghdad moves to 10-3 in his MMA career and has finished both his RFA fights in emphatic fashion. His Muay Thai background makes him arguably the most talented striker from the region.
