Pablo Garza finished his UFC career with a record of 3-3, picking up a few pretty impressive wins over names like Mark Hominick and Yves Jabouin. He was released from the promotion after a loss to Diego Brandao, but still left after what has to have been considered a reasonably successful run.
Now, Garza is speaking up about the UFC's treatment of fighters. It started with agreeing with Wanderlei Silva's recent anti-UFC blowups and has continued as news of the antitrust lawsuit against the UFC has become public.
Garza posted a lengthy discussion about the situation on his Facebook, but one of the most interesting aspects was Garza talking about a situation in 2012.
""Back in 2012 all ufc fighters were asked to sign a petition saying that the Ufc isnt a monopoly and that fighter are treated fairly," Garza said. "I was one of the few who chose not to sign it."
Depending on what time that petition was floated, his refusal to sign may be one of the reasons he was cut after the Brandao loss, despite that being a single loss in a row to another talented fighter.
