In surely what would be one of the more hard hitting and in-depth interviews Miesha Tate has ever had, TMZ asked the women's MMA star about body odor and stinky fighters.
The former Strikeforce champ initially declined to answer this legitimate journalist's inquiry on who she thought was the stinkiest female MMA fighter she knows. As he prodded for more specific details on this investigative piece though, it ultimately lead to this game changing scoop for the highly regarded news outlet.
When asked specifically about Rousey, 'Cupcake' confirmed that the UFC champion indeed had a certain aroma outside the cage. Here's a transcript of the intense back and forth between both parties:
Journalist: Is Ronda Rousey stinky?
Tate: She actually is. I'm not going to lie. She really is. I heard she uses some natural deodorant or something, but it doesn't work very well, evidently. I don't remember it during the fight. I remember it during the world press tour.
My great uncle always used to tell me that I should pack a piece of garlic in my cheeks. He said he used to do that in his wrestling matches. He'd breathe on them and they'd turn away and give up the pin. I was like, 'hmmm, maybe, but I don't want to be known as the stinky girl of MMA.'
