Video: Ben Saunders explains Bloody Elbow shoutout during UFC on FOX broadcast

Ben Saunders explains multiple shout outs to the online community here at and others.

Ben Saunders may not have wanted his UFC on FOX bout against Joe Riggs to end in a freak injury, but nonetheless 'Killa B' is officially 2-0 since returning to the UFC.

During the pre-fight introductions, Saunders, who is an active part of the Bloody Elbow community, motioned to the camera and mouthed 'LETS...' as an inside joke and a shout out to the members of this site. During his interview with Joe Rogan after the contest, Saunders once again gave props to our online community, prompting other media members to ask about it during his post-fight scrum, which you can watch above.

"In 2010 when I got cut from the UFC, it was a very depressing and sad situation to try and bounce back from. Everyone from the UG and from Bloody Elbow, just really went behind me and it was really some extra motivation for me,"

"They've always just stuck by me through all of this, and I believe if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have made it back to the UFC," Saunders said. "I think the UFC also pays attention to what the fans want, and they wanted me back, so I've got a lot of thanks toward them. That's why I give them shout outs."

The 31-year-old has now won 5 of his last 6 bouts and improved his overall record to 18-6-2. He also likes funny gifs of cats.
