The controversy over the judges' decision to award Junior dos Santos the unanimous decision victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC on Fox 13 isn't on the same level as last week's Robbie Lawler/Johny Hendricks decision, but there is some curiosity over the two 49-46 cards awarded to JDS. MMA Junkie's John Morgan tweeted out the individual scores made by the three judges at cageside after the event:
JUDGING: Marcos Rosales, Glenn Trowbridge only gave Stipe R2. Derek Cleary gave Stipe R2, R5.

So to summarize: The judges unanimously agreed to award dos Santos rounds 1, 3 (where he scored the crucial, possibly fight-changing knockdown), and 4, and Miocic the 2nd. Curiously, Derek Cleary saw it fit to score the final round for Miocic despite a marked decrease in Miocic's offense and JDS seemingly getting the better of him in what was almost an exclusive MMA-style boxing match.
There will be plenty more discussion about this decision and the futures of both men in our continuing post-fight coverage of UFC on Fox 13 here on Bloody Elbow.
