UFC on Fox 13: Derek Brunson vs. Ed Herman scrapped after Brunson suffers food poisoning

Bad news for fans who were hoping to watch a UFC on Fox 13 middleweight bout between Derek Brunson and Ed Herman. This fight was originally schedule to be on the Fox Sports 1 portion of the preliminary card, but as Herman revealed during the event, Brunson had to withdraw from the contest due to food poisoning:

Brunson himself took to Twitter to apologize to his fans:

There's no word yet on whether or not Herman and/or Brunson will receive their show money.

As for the bout order, nothing is affected as this announcement was made after the conclusion of the Fight Pass prelims, so nothing will takes its place on the Fox Sports 1 broadcast. UFC on Fox 13 will now proceed with 12 fights, but with 5 preliminary card fights over the next 3 hours.
