Video: Manny Pacquiao: Yeah, it's kinda like Floyd Mayweather is afraid of me

After his impressive win in Macau, Manny Pacquiao spoke to the media about Floyd Mayweather, and Chris Algieri.

Shortly after his impressive win over Chris Algieri, Manny Pacquiao fielded questions from the international media in attendance. The 8-division world champion spoke about the bout, and a potential future bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

"He didn't want to engage. He only engaged during the start of the first round," Pacquiao said in Filipino when he was asked why he wasn't able to put Algieri away despite recording 6 knockdowns. "I didn't really have a hard time against him. I also just didn't want to be careless. In the past, I've gotten a loss because I got careless. I dropped him many times, but Algieri is just really tough."

He also addressed a potential bout against Mayweather which he says he wants to happen early next year.

"I'm stronger and faster now. I'm so happy with my performance. Yes, I'm ready to face Mayweather. I was never discouraged after that loss to Marquez," he said, "I just learned that I needed more determination and focus, and I learned that from that fight."

Pacquiao has been more vocal of his desire to face Mayweather after the bout, and when asked if he thinks his rival is afraid of him he simply replied with "Yeah, it's kinda like that."
