Join us tonight for episode 8 of The Ultimate Fighter. TUF 20 / A Champion Will Be Crowned features 16 women vying to become the inaugural UFC Women's Strawweight champion.

Last week, the main focus was on fighting again, which was great. We got one of the better fights of the season as #7 Rose Namajunas defeated #10 Alex Chambers. Thug Rose looked pretty great in the victory, fighting with a confidence that seems at odds with her low level of experience. She now will take on #2 seed Joanne Calderwood. And if you're not excited for that fight, I'm not clear why you are even watching.

Oh, and Team Melendez won. You go El Nino.

Tonight, the last fight of the quarterfinal round. It's Team Melendez vs. Team Melendez. Sort of. #8 Bec Rawlings takes on #3 Tecia Torres. Torres was eliminated from the competition in the season's first fight, but when Justin Kish was injured, Torres got a second chance, moving over to Team Pettis for reasons that really made no sense to anyone but Dana White.

Rowdy Bec Rawlings (formerly Bec Hyatt) comes in with a 5-3 record. She's just 1-2 in Invicta, though both losses come against tough competition in Carla Esparza and Mizuki Inoue. Those aren't bad losses at all, but she'll need to improve on that record if she hopes to advance. She takes on the tough Tecia Torres. Prior to her upset TUF loss to Randa Markos, Torres looked fantastic, going 4-0, all in Invicta, all by decision, and including wins over two of her castmates - Namajunas (in a great fight) and Felice Herrig. Torres trains at ATT, and were it not for the Markos fight, could be seen as a tournament favorite. Will be interesting to see how she bounces back here.
