The four fight Spike TV main card of Bellator 130 featured a championship fight, a title eliminator, three submissions (one to strikes), a current pro-wrestling champ and one of Earth's top women fighters. And yet perhaps it added up to less than the sum of its parts.

Light Heavyweight champ Emanuel Newton needed all but four minutes of the full 5 rounds to put away challenger Linton Vassell with a rear naked choke off a scramble. This was Newton's second title defense in two months, following a knock out win over Joey Beltran.

Meanwhile TNA wrestling champ Bobby Lashley crushed another can in the form of Brit Karl Etherington whose judo black belt didn't seem to help when he flopped to his belly and proceeded to eat punches to the head and then quickly tap.

Former Strikeforce women's champ Marloes Coenen submitted Annalisa Bucci in the third round and LW contender Dave Jansen dominated Rick Hawn to pick up a decision win and a likely title shot.
