Bellator president, Scott Coker was on hand at the promotion's fan-fest in San Diego, CA this afternoon to speak with Fight Hub about the future direction of the company and compared the differences he's had with starting Strikeforce and taking over Bellator.
After starting out with just 4 fighters while running Strikeforce, he's now jumping into the hotseat with a full roster of fighters and a promotion that has 7 years worth of steam behind it. In the 4 months he's been running the show, they've featured more events than Strikeforce did in the entirety of their first 2 years.
Coker goes on to make a few light-hearted jokes about his first few days with the Bellator team, but ended up finishing out the interview on a more serious note, promising big name signings and says that the main offices that are currently headquartered in Newport Beach might be moved to his home base of San Jose, CA.
As always, we will keep our readers updated on any Spikeforce changes as more information becomes available.
