Khabib Nurmagomedov looking for lost opponent, considering calling in a missing person report

After a recent bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Gilbert Melendez fell apart, it looks like Nurmagomedov is trying to pick up the pieces and track down his missing opponent.

"Where you at Gil!? Gil, where you at!?" That's effectively what Khabib Nurmagomedov wants to know after a planned bout between the two of them fell through last week. Gilbert Melendez and Khabib Nurmagomedov had been scheduled to face off at UFC 170. They even made it on to the official event poster, before Dana White pulled the plug on the fight last week. Now it appears that Nurmagomedov, worried for his missing opponent is taking to Twitter to try and track down Melendez's whereabouts:

No word on who Nurmagomedov might be facing, the UFC has said that they will try and find him a new opponent for the UFC 170 card. Until then, I do not encourage anyone to file a missing persons report on Gilbert Melendez, as it appears that he is off at Jake Shields' Mixed Martial Arts Boot Camp, no doubt in preparation for his next fight, when and where ever that may be.
