Kickboxing company Glory has already announced that their next card will be held in March, with Glory 14 taking place in Zagreb, Croatia on March 8. Glory 14 will once again air on Spike TV. We already know the main event - Remy Bonjasky vs. Mirko Cro Cop in a battle of two all time greats from the Heavyweight kickboxing ranks. Now, a few more details on the card have been announced.

In the night's second feature fight, Glory 13 Welterweight tournament champion Nieky Holzken will face Marc De Bonte. For hardcore kickboxing fans, this is a HUGE fight. Holzken is a very impressive fighter who is undefeated in Glory and looked tremendous in his Glory 13 tournament win. In the past two years, Holzken has only lost to one man - Moroccan fighter L'houcine Ouzgni. At Glory 6 last year, Ouzgni made his much anticipated Glory debut, where he was promptly KO'd by, you guessed it, Marc De Bonte. To some, that makes De Bonte the rightful #1 Welterweight in the world. De Bonte was originally slated for the Glory 13 tournament, but was forced out and replaced by Raymond Daniels. Now, we'll see who truly is the world's #1 welterweight in what promises to be a tremendous, action-packed fight.

One interesting note from the fight is that Glory is billing it as a "Welterweight World Title" fight. The tournaments we have seen on Spike recently have crowned tournament champions, but those champions have not then been defending their belts in subsequent fights. It seems that with Holzken vs. De Bonte, Glory may be moving towards a more traditional championship format.

Also announced for the card is a Middlweight contender tournament, though none of the participants have yet been announced. An unconfirmed, unofficial poster for the event lists Dustin Jacoby, Jahfarr Wilnis, and Sahak Parparyan in the tournament - stay tuned to see if that is how things turn out.

As always, Bloody Elbow will have plenty of Glory coverage leading up to Glory 14, plus you can catch all the action on Spike TV, March 8.
