Hey look, it's another fight week! It's also the UFC's first PPV offering of 2014 and it has two title fights on deck. Urijah Faber stepped up on just a few week's notice to replace the injured Dominick Cruz against the now undisputed bantamweight champion Renan Barao. The two fought for the interim belt back in 2012, with Barao winning a clear unanimous decision. Jose Aldo defends his featherweight crown against Ricardo Lamas in the co-main event, so it's almost like another WEC special given the top two fights.
Frank Mir battles Alistair Overeem in a heavyweight fight that will likely end in a double knockout someone getting knocked out. John Lineker and Ali Bagautinov will scrap at flyweight, while the main card is opened up by an exciting lightweight encounter between Jamie Varner (filling in for Bobby Green) opposite Abel Trujillo.
The only preliminary card change sees newcomer Danny Martinez facing Chris Cariaso instead of Kyoji Horiguchi, who is the only other injury casualty for this event.
