UFC Fight Night 36: Machida vs. Mousasi fight card

A look at the mid-February UFC trip to Brazil, as Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi square off in a five-round middleweight main event.

Anderson Silva is no longer champion and I think it's very clear that we'll never see him hold that position again. So what does that mean for the rest of the middleweight division? Chris Weidman is the current champ, and four fighters on this UFC Fight Night 36 card are looking to take that extra step towards a title fight. Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi were last seen at light heavyweight, but they're here at 185 lbs for a big five-round main event. "Jacare" Souza takes on Francis Carmont in the co-main event, and Jacare has simply looked outstanding in both of his UFC fights.

Also on the main card are Erick Silva against Takenori Sato plus Thiago Tavares' featherweight debut vs. Zubair Tuhugov. Here's a look at the full fight card, which is scheduled for February 15th on Fox Sports 1 in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil:
