UFC Fight Night 28 post-fight bonuses: Teixeira, Natal, Troeng, and Hallmann each pick up $50,000

UFC president Dana White quickly announced the post-fight bonuses following the conclusion of UFC Fight Night: Bader vs. Teixeira, and they are as follows:

Knockout of the Night - Glover Teixeira (vs. Ryan Bader)

Submission of the Night - Piotr Hallmann (vs. Francisco Trinaldo)

Fight of the Night - Rafael Natal vs. Tor Troeng

For Teixeira, it's his 2nd consecutive post-fight bonus, having already won SOTN against James Te Huna at UFC 160. It's a tough loss to swallow for Ryan Bader, who has been on the wrong end of a post-fight bonus in 3 of his 4 losses.

Hallmann survived an early onslaught of body kicks by Trinaldo in the 1st round and finished the tiring Brazilian with a kimura towards the end of the 2nd. It's the first time Trinaldo has been submitted in the UFC.

Natal and Troeng both picked up their first UFC "Of the Night" bonuses with their back-and-forth bout on the night's main card. While the TUF 17 alum put up a good display of resiliency, Natal won a clear unanimous decision for his 3rd straight victory.

All of the award recipients earned $50,000.
