UFC Fight Night 28 results: Spencer, Jorge, Silverio win decisions

The early UFC Fight Night 28 preliminaries saw Elias Silverio, Ivan Jorge and Sean Spencer take home decision wins.

The opening three fights of UFC Fight Night 28 Bader vs. Teixiera aka were all long grinding decisions featuring mostly Brazilian fighters and no one with significant UFC experience. Elias Silverio, Ivan Jorge both took home unanimous decision wins and Sean Spencer had to settle for a split decision.

UFC Fight Night 28 Bader vs. Teixiera results: Elias Silverio def. Joao Zeferino via unanimous decision (30-27 x2, 29-28)

Welterweight Elias Silverio defeated Joao Zeferino by fending off his relentless take downs, getting some take downs of his own and landing the far better strikes on the feet. The 26-year-old improves to 9-0 and 1-0 in the UFC. Zeferino falls to 13-6.

UFC Fight Night 28 Bader vs. Teixiera results: Ivan Jorge def. Keith Wisniewski via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28 x2)

Ivan Jorge dominated Kieth Wisniewski for three rounds by relentlessly forcing him against the cage and landing combinations when they separated. The 32-year-old Welterweight improves to 25-3 and 1-0 in the UFC. The fight opened the Fox Sports 1 broadcast of the UFC Fight Night 28 prelims.

UFC Fight Night 28 Bader vs. Teixiera results: Sean Spencer def. Yuri Villefort via split decision (30-27, 29-28, 28-29).

The sole fight of the night streamed on Facebook rather than televised in the U.S. saw American Sean Spencer outpoint Yuri Villefort for a split decision win. Spencer was trading punches for kicks but 2 of the judges awarded him the win.
