The latest edition of the SB Nation pound-for-pound rankings are out and there's nothing really by way of surprises.
Jon Jones remains in the number one slot with his thrilling win over Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 165. Georges St. Pierre, Jose Aldo, Anderson Silva and Cain Velasquez complete the very clear cut top five.
Renan Barao is one of the two big movers in the rankings, jumping from #8 to a tie for #6 with Chris Weidman. Barao's jump comes after his big KO of Eddie Wineland at UFC 165. Weidman remains several spots below Silva despite knocking him out.
The other jump comes from previously unranked Anthony Pettis who enters the rankings at #9 after submitting Ben Henderson. Henderson dropped from #6 to unranked after the loss, one of four me to receive at least one vote.
The rankings are voted on by a panel of six SB Nation writers, two from each Bloody Elbow (Dallas Winston, Tim Burke), MMA Fighting (Ariel Helwani, Dave Doyle) and MMA Mania (Thomas Myers, Alex Giardini).
