it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Anthony Perosh will be competing on the UFC's next Australia card in December. What is a tad surprising is his opponent. Perosh will take on TUF winner Ryan Bader on December 7th. Australian news outlet The Daily Telegraph has the info:
The Daily Telegraph can reveal Perosh, who has won four of his past five fights inside the Octagon, will square off against Bader at UFC Fight Night card on December 7 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
The booking is a little odd because Perosh (14-7) is coming off a huge 14-second knockout of Vinny Magalhaes at UFC 163 and has won four out of his last five as noted above. Meanwhile, Bader (15-4) is coming off a TKO loss to Glover Teixeira and has lost two out of his last three overall.
It's unclear if the bout will take place on the main card, but I'm guessing it will. The Brisbane event will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Mark Hunt and Antonio Silva.
