Today, Saturday September 14, K-1 shows that they still exist with their latest card. Live from Spain, it's the K-1 World MAX 2013 Final 16. This show is the first step towards crowning a 2013 K-1 MAX GP champion. Winners here will move on to a Final 8 at a future date.

The full fight card is below, featuring big names Andy Souwer and Buakaw Benchamek (the former Buakaw Por. Pramuk). The two men are both repeat K-1 MAX champions, both have been in the very upper echelon of the MAX division for years, and they are lifetime rivals. Joining these champions are a variety of other interesting names - highlights include Henri Van Opstal and Sung-Hyun Lee. Mike Zambidis was originally announced for the show, but has since been removed from the card.
