While the final result wasn't completely surprising the method of victory certainly was. In the main event of UFC Fight Night 26, Chael Sonnen scored an impressive victory. Despite having not won a 205 lbs. in the better part of a decade, he finished former Light Heavyweight champion Mauricio Rua late in the first round. Rua looked to get off his back but left himself open to a guillotine choke from Sonnen. Even though it's typically a low-percentage submission, Sonnen locked it in and got the tap at 4:47 of round one.
