UFC 164 fight card: Henderson vs. Pettis 2

New, comments

Check out the current card for UFC 164: Henderson vs. Pettis 2, which takes place on August 31st in Milwaukee.

David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

UFC 164 isn't far away now. Original lightweight title challenger T.J. Grant suffered a concussion in training for his bout with champion Ben Henderson and was forced out of his bout. The guy replacing him is familiar to the champ - Anthony Pettis, the last man to defeat him. The two men will face off in a rematch of their awesome WEC 53 bout as the headliner in Pettis' hometown of Milwaukee on August 31st.

Beyond that, the card is full of other high-quality bouts. Josh Barnett will fight in the UFC for the first time in over 10 years when he takes on former champ Frank Mir. The featherweight division will be represented with two big bouts - Chad Mendes vs. Clay Guida, and Erik Koch vs. Dustin Poirier. And Brandon Vera will return to the heavyweight division to meet Ben Rothwell.
