Livia Von Plettenberg vs. Kathina Catron makes last minute addition to Invicta FC 6

Today's Invicta FC weigh-ins saw a number of last minute changes to the card. The night started inauspiciously when Livia Von Plettenberg missed weight by seven pounds. She was given two hours to cut the weight but was unable to do so. Her opponent Cassie Robb declined the opportunity for a catchweight fight, but will be compensated and has been guaranteed another fight on a future card. Wombat sports has the news on twitter:

While Robb declined the fight, Kathina Catron, who was scheduled to fight earlier this month(on another card) before that fight was cancelled, has stepped in as a last minute replacement to face Von Plettenberg at a catchweight.

That wasn't the only fight on the card to see trouble. Rising featherweight prospect Veronica Rothlenhouser was rushed to the hospital after fainting pre-weigh-ins. Her fight against Mollie Estes has been cancelled altogether, Estes will receive her full fight purse in compensation.

One final last minute change led to trouble as well. Tamikka Brents was called to fill in on three days notice against Ediane Gomes. The fight had been planned for a catchweight of 150, but Brents came in at 155. The fight has now been agreed at a 155 lb catchweight.

Jessica Penne came in 0.1 lbs over, but made weight on her second attempt. Invicta FC 6 takes place July 13, and streams live on UStream and Direct TV PPV at 7 EST, 4 PST. Tomorrow's fight card as it stands now is:
