Anthony Pettis has been forced out of UFC 163 with an injury, and will be replaced by the Korean Zombie, Chan Sung Jung. Jung will now meet Jose Aldo for the UFC featherweight title in the main event in Rio on August 3rd. Dana White tweeted the news a few minutes ago:
Pettis hurt his knee, Korean Zombie will now face Jose Aldo for the title on the Aug card in Rio Brazil.

Jung (13-3) was scheduled to face Ricardo Lamas on the main card of UFC 162, but will now move up to fight Aldo. He hasn't competed in over a year due to injuries, but defeated Dustin Poirier by submission in his last bout in May of 2012. Jung had recently complained about Pettis, a lightweight, "cutting the line" at featherweight by requesting the bout. Now he'll step in for the very man that he was complaining about.
No replacement has been named to fight Lamas as of yet.
Pettis detailed the injury in a tweet:
Injuries are part of the sport, Small tear in my meniscus. I was so ready for this fight, this won't stop me!Be back soon. @ufc @danawhite
