The night's main event sees Brian Stann try to pick up a win over the biggest name of his career when he takes on former PRIDE champion Wanderlei Silva. Heavyweights meet in the co-main event when Stefan Struve takes on Mark Hunt. Diego Sanchez and Takanori Gomi were set to meet in a lightweight matchup but Sanchez failed to make weight so the bout is now to be contested at a catchweight of 158 pounds.
Middleweight contenders Yushin Okami and Hector Lombard will fight in the third fight of the Fuel broadcast. And rounding out the card is a featherweight bout between Mizuto Hirota and Rani Yahya and welterweight Dong Hyun Kim and Siyar Bahadurzada.

Siyar Bahadurzada vs. Dong Hyun Kim - Round 1 - Siyar pumping out the left hand to keep Kim thinking about it. Right hand lands for Siyar as Kim comes in. Kim ends up getting the takedown and is quickly into the mount. As he starts to finally land some shots Siyar tries to get out and Kim takes the back standing. 10-9 Kim.
Round 2 - Kim ends up getting another takedown without taking any real damage on the feet and he's in side control. Siyar defending and preventing Kim from getting to mount. Kim gets to mount and now lands a hard elbow. He rides out the rest of the round just beating up on Siyar. 10-9 Kim.
Round 3 - Siyar trying to come forward and get some work done but Kim just dips down and takes him right down. And back to mount he goes. Now Kim with knees to the body and he looks to lock up the head and arm choke. Kim just dominated him that round landing knees to the body and a lot of punches and elbows. 10-8 Kim.
Official Scorecards: 30-27 across the board. Dong Hyun Kim wins by unanimous decision.
Mizuto Hirota vs. Rani Yahya - Round 1 - Yahya shoots and does get Hirota down against the cage but Hirota gets space and stands up. Hirota ends up on top briefly in a scramble, Yahya looks to take an arm, but Hirota is free. Yahya with a very nice sweep and he's on top now working to grind on Hirota. Yahya uses an armlock to set up a pass and then moves to the back. 10-9 Yahya
Round 2 - Yahya with a quick takedown. He has a very tight arm triangle choke but the cage keeps him from getting the perfect angle to finish it and Hirota is able to ride it out for a long time and not tap before Yahya has to give up on it. 10-9 Yahya
Round 3 - Hirota is trying to get inside but Yahya is looking for a takedown off of it. Hirota defends against the takedown. And he defends against another. Yahya gets the takedown and Hirota has a triangle set-up. He switches to an armbar and it looks tight but Yahya is able to survive and he takes the back. Hirota ends up on top landing some big strikes and now he stands and Yahya is exhausted. Hirota does good work but it's too late. 10-9 Hirota but he clearly lost the first two rounds.
Official scorecards: 29-28 across the board. Rani Yahya wins by unanimous decision.
Hector Lombard vs. Yushin Okami - Round 1 - Lombard with a leg kick and Okami catches it and gets the takedown. Lombard manages to get back up and he lands a couple punches. Lombard just misses with an uppercut but now lands a left hand. Okami ducks down and gets another takedown. Okami does a little work, Lombard gets back to his feet but he's getting tired already. 10-9 Okami.
Round 2 - Okami just picking away with the jab now, using his reach to keep Lombard outside. Lombard tries to get closer and exchange but Okami ducks down for a single leg and works very hard to complete the takedown, but does manage to get on top. Okami passes and ends up in the mount. He doesn't finish, but he is dominating. 10-9 Okami.
Round 3 - Lombard comes out throwing a lot of hard punches and he lands and hurts Okami! Okami is hurt badly but he is surviving. Okami lands a hard knee in the clinch after Lombard landed a few more punches. Okami gets stuffed on a takedown attempt and Lombard is now on top on the ground. Lombard landing hammerfists as Okami tries to turn and get his own takedown. Okami gets up now with about 1:45 left. Back to the ground they go with Lombard on top. 10-9 Lombard but 29-28 Okami.

Diego Sanchez vs. Takanori Gomi - Round 1 - They're trading early and Gomi gets in a little bit. Gomi with a counter right that lands. Gomi lands again on the counter. Right hand by Sanchez lands and he gets a takedown. Gomi is able to power out though and he's back to standing. Body shots land for Diego. Diego with a takedown after he gets popped a few times and he goes for a kneebar which Gomi gets out of and is back to standing, landing a few jabs and a body shot. 10-9 Gomi.
Round 2 - Sanchez circling and Gomi stuffs a takedown attempt. Gomi with another body shot. Really, the story of the fight is that Gomi is first to the punch on almost every exchange. Right hand by Gomi lands and Diego just doesn't have much. Gomi brings a flurry of shots and Diego does manage to counter and then land to the body as the round ends. 10-9 Gomi.
Round 3 - More of the same here. Diego is too slow against Gomi and Gomi is just beating him to the punch. Diego shoots in for a takedown again and again Gomi sprawls and now he's back to landing his punches. Diego flurries at the end of the round, but too little, too late. 10-9 Gomi.

Mark Hunt vs. Stefan Struve - Round 1 - Hunt gets in with a punch. Leg kick for Hunt. Another leg kick. Hunt misses a few punches. Hunt lands a punch, Struve clinches him and pulls guard. Struve sweeps right into mount. Hunt manages to get half guard back. Struve fails on setting up an arm triangle. Backk to mount now. Struve landing a lot of punches and Hunt gives up his back. Now Struve looking for an armbar but Hunt gets out and is on top now. Hunt with a right hand. Another right for Hunt. Struve can't get the sweep this time and Hunt has side control. 10-9 Struve.
Round 2 - Hunt lands a big punch and Struve takes it pretty well. Struve landing a few jabs. And again with the jab. Left hand lands for Hunt and he lands a right too. Body kick by Struve. They trade right hands. Hunt digs to the body. Hunt with a takedown and Struve gets half butterfly guard. Struve pulls him back down and looked for a leg lock but couldn't get it. Struve almost takes the back, but Hunt does well at staying on top again. Hunt passes to side control when Struve tried to get a leg up for a triangle. They stand but Struve takes him down into the mount again. Struve pounding away with big punches. Struve misses when he goes for the armbar and now Hunt is on top again. 10-9 Hunt.
Round 3 - Hunt to the body. Big left hand by Hunt and Struve takes it well. Right hand by Struve. Hunt lands a few more punches. Head kick by Struve. Right hand by Struve, Hunt lands a shot and Struve stumbles back. Hunt lands again. Anda again and Struve is down. Struve appears okay but Herb Dean stops the fight. Mark Hunt wins by TKO (punch), round 3.
Brian Stann vs. Wanderlei Silva - Round 1 - They engage and swing wildly, Stann slips but gets back up and Silva flurries some more. Now Stann flurries and Silva briefly drops before getting back up. They trade big shots. They bite down on their mouthpieces and start to firefight again. Accidental low blow by Stann and they briefly break to allow Wanderlei to recover. Silva with a wild shot that gets in as Stann lands a leg kick. They're trading again. This is wild. Silva is hurt, now Stann is hurt and he drops. Silva tries to flurry, Stann back up and he fires back and they go to the ground. Stann is on top and he is bleeding badly. 10-9 Stann but very close.
Round 2 - They trade again and both land right hands. Stann works a few leg kicks. Silva with a jab. Low blow by Stann on a kick and the action stops again. Stann is given a final warning. Silva with a right hand and Stann is circling again. Stann with a hard right. Head kick for Silva just lands to the side of Stann's head. Stann with a few right hands. Huge shot by Silva and Stann drops. Silva drops a few more shots and Stann is out cold! Oh my! Silva stands in the cage and soaks in the cheers of the Japanese crowd. Pure magic. Wanderlei Silva wins by KO (punches), round 2.
