TUF is trying to hold steady on Tuesdays. Despite one of the biggest knockouts in TUF history taking place on Tuesday's third episode of The Ultimate Fighter 17, the ratings for the show dipped slightly in relation to the week before. MMA Fighting (via TV By The Numbers) has the info:
Tuesday night's episode of The Ultimate Fighter reality show delivered a 0.92 rating and 1,191,000 viewers, a six percent drop from the prior week.
By comparison, the first two episodes did 1.5 million and 1.27 million viewers respectively.
The show was heavily advertised all week as having the biggest knockout in TUF history, and it lived up to that promise. Uriah Hall took on Adam Cella, and turned his lights out with a spinning back kick. You can catch the video of that here. The next episode features Strikeforce veteran Kevin Casey taking on Collin Hart.
