The second half of the UFC on Fuel 7 prelims didn't have a fight that could live up to the Tom Watson vs. Stanislav Nedkov bout earlier in the day, but there was some solid action nonetheless. All three fights went to decision and only one was close to being finished, but there was an array of different things happening in each bout.

In the fourth bout of the card, Andy Ogle overcame some dangerous submission attempts from Josh Grispi early to grind out a unanimous decision win. The bout was mainly contested on the mat, where Ogle controlled Grispi from top position over the final two rounds to edge it out.

Paul Sass brought his vaunted submission game into action early against Danny Castillo, but "Last Call" deftly fought off an early triangle with a slam and worked his way out of a variety of leglocks for the rest of the first round. He continued to take the fight to the ground in rounds two and three, and was never in any real danger from Sass' bottom game. He picked up the unanimous nod on the scorecards for his effort.

In the final prelim fight, Renee Forte brought the action to Terry Etim from the opening bell, hurting him in the second round and almost finishing the fight. Etim held on even as Forte got to mount late, but didn't have enough in the tank in the third and was beaten soundly by the Brazilian fighter.

Andy Ogle defeated Josh Grispi via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Danny Castillo defeated Paul Sass via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

Renee Forte defeated Terry Etim via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27).
