UFC on Fuel 7: Barao vs. McDonald betting lines

A look at the betting lines for this weekend's UFC on Fuel 7 card in London, and some recommended plays.

And we're back with another exciting edition of UFC betting lines. The event in question this time UFC on Fuel 7 in London, and I'm kind of amazed at a lot of the lines here. It seems like there's some decent money to be made, but I say that a lot and my 2013 record so far isn't exactly awesome. Nevertheless, here's what we got (via BestFightOdds):

First off, I think Michael McDonald is a great bet in the +280 range. Is he REALLY that much of an underdog? He hasn't fought for a while, but I thought he'd be around +170 at best. +280 is a steal to me, and I'm taking it. Moving on, I'll probably stay away from the Cub Swanson vs. Dustin Poirier because there's not a lot of value on either side. I like Cyrille Diabate at around +200. Manuwa is a beast on the feet for sure, but Diabate is the better technical striker and has only been finished by the feet of Shogun.

What else? Well, James Te Huna at -200 is a nice price. Paul Sass at even money against a wrestler? Sign me up. And Stanislav Nedkov as a dog in his middleweight debut? If he can make the weight, he can win the fight. I really need to have a good event, so all these guys better win. Please?

Recommended plays:
.5 unit on MacDonald at +284
.75 unit on Diabate at +216
1 unit on Sass at -115
.75 unit on Nedkov at +109

Last event: UFC 156: 1-2, -1 unit
2013 standings: 3-5, -2.58 units
