UFC 168: Weidman vs. Silva fight lineup finalized

New, comments

The UFC's big end-of-year PPV card has an official bout order, with two title fights on the line as the featured attractions.

USA TODAY Sports
Tomorrow commences a stretch of 4 UFC events in 5 weeks, and the last one of 2013 is the traditionally strong year-end PPV. UFC 168 sees middleweight champion Chris Weidman defend his title against Anderson Silva ... that even felt weird to type, but it happened. Weidman KO'd Silva in July, and if he beats Silva again the changing of the guard will be complete. Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey defends her women's bantamweight belt against Miesha Tate, who replaced the injured Cat Zingano on TUF 18 and in this title fight. Tate lost to Zingano in April and had her left arm collected by Rousey in Strikeforce.

Elsewhere on this card is a surefire FOTN caliber opener between featherweights Dustin Poirier and Diego Brandao, plus a key heavyweight tilt between Travis Browne and Josh Barnett. On the prelims, Uriah Hall and Chris Leben fight in what Dana White says is a "do or die" for Hall (and it pretty much is for Leben), while Dennis Siver takes on Manny Gamburyan.

Here's what the full fight card looks like for December 28th from Las Vegas, NV:
