The Ultimate Fighter season 18, episode 9 live discussion

Technically there was a "new" episode of TUF last week, but no fights were actually shown. Instead you had a recap of the season, the show's best moments, and the rivalry between Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. Tonight the final two semifinal spots are up for grabs. Here's a quick rundown of the remaining fighters (eliminated fighters are crossed out):

Women's Bantamweight

Team Tate: Julianna Pena, Sarah Moras, Raquel Pennington, Roxanne Modafferi
Team Rousey: Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, Peggy Morgan, Jessica Rakoczy

Men's Bantamweight

Team Tate: Cody Bollinger, Chris Holdsworth, Josh Hill, Louis Fisette (replacing the injured Tim Gorman)
Team Rousey: Chris Beal, David Grant, Anthony Gutierrez, Michael Wootten

Michael Wootten eliminated Josh Hill by unanimous decision, which means coaches Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate have an equal number of eliminated fighters on the show after 6 bouts. Tonight's quarterfinal fights are as follows:

Peggy Morgan vs. Sarah Moras
Anthony Gutierrez vs. Cody Bollinger

Once those fights are over, it's onward to the semifinal round for both the men's and women's groups, with the season finale taking place in Las Vegas on November 30th.
