Saturday November 2, Bloody Elbow presents live fight coverage of Gennady Golovkin vs. Curtis Stevens, live on HBO. HBO Boxing After Dark Golovkin vs. Stevens airs live this Saturday, November 2 with a fight time of 10:00 p.m. ET / PT. Bloody Elbow will have live fight coverage, including results and discussion, right here.
If you're a Gennady Golovkin fan, this has been a pretty incredible year so far. Rising from moderate obscurity, Golovkin has had a tremendous 2013, going 3-0 already and now being discussed as a possible pound for pound contender. The big talk for Golovkin is what next, as a showdown with Sergio Martinez has been discussed. But really, people just want to see GGG - he has that aura about him right now where you just have to tune in to see the violence that he unleashes. The undefeated Golovkin has not seen the judges' scorecards since 2008, and he doesn't show any signs of slowing down here. Curtis Stevens has a tough night ahead of him if he hopes to somehow steal Golovkin's momentum away.

Opening the HBO broadcast is Mike Perez vs. Magomed Abdusalamov. Both men are undefeated Heavyweights with solid amateur experience, but it's Magomed who has the more impressive highlight reel in the pro ranks, with all of his wins coming via KO. Hopefully this is a short one, as I expect the crowd will be eager to see Golovkin.
