Dana White says John Lineker would already have a title shot if he'd made weight

UFC Flyweight John Lineker keeps missing weight and that's already cost him a title shot, despite his impressive win at UFC Fight Night 30: Machida vs. Munoz.

UFC Flyweight John Lineker has put together a four-fight win streak with the promotion with three straight TKO wins. Unfortunately he's also missed weight three times in his five UFC bouts. This is a problem for a would-be title contender. Following Linker's win over Phil Harris at UFC Fight Night 30 in Manchester, England on Saturday, UFC president Dana White spoke up at the post-fight press conference:

Dan Lambert, he runs the American Top Team down in Florida. He's probably one of the best guys in the sport and has been since before we owned this company. He hit us up tonight and said "let's get this kid down to Florida for training and get him on the Dolce Diet and make sure this kid can cut weight." He's so good that if he had made weight on the three times he's missed, he'd probably have a title shot right now.

Flyweight desperately needs a new title challenger with champ Demetrious Johnson and perennial contenders Joseph Benavidez and John Dodson seemingly monopolizing the top of the division.
