Mike Wilkinson injured, UFC looking for replacement opponent for Jimy Hettes at UFC Fight Night 30

UFC featherweight Mike Wilkinson has pulled out of a scheduled fight with Jimy Hettes, just one week prior to UFC Fight Night 30 in Manchester, England.

UFC featherweight Jim Hettes hasn't won a fight since 2011, and his opportunity for a win may be delayed yet again. With just one week to go before UFC Fight Night 30, he needs a new opponent or else he probably won't see another fight until 2014. MMA Junkie reports that Hettes' opponent, Mike Wilkinson, has suffered an injury and will not be able to compete next Saturday night in England.

Hettes (10-1) was riding high after winning his debut against Alex Caceres and then pasting Nam Phan in 2011, but a loss to Marcus Brimage at UFC 152 last September definitely stopped any sort of "hype train". He's twice been booked to fight Steven Siler in the past two years but has pulled out of both with injuries, and could be at risk of going more than two years without a win.

Wilkinson (8-1) fought on TUF: The Smashes and won his UFC debut against Brendan Loughnane in the season finale. The Brit's unbeaten record ended earlier this year after an incredibly easy submission win by TUF Brazil winner Rony Jason.

UFC Fight Night 30 airs on Fox Sports 2 (NOT Fox Sports 1), and is headlined by Lyoto Machida's middleweight debut against top 10 opponent Mark Munoz.
