Looking to recover from his first UFC loss, Featherweight Hacran Dias was set to face Rodrigo Damm at Wednesday's UFC Fight Night 29. Unfortunately for Dias, Damm was forced to withdrawal from the bout less than a week before the event. Damm suffered from kidney stones likely a complication from the weight cut.

MMA Junkie reported Thursday afternoon that, despite not being able to actually compete in the Octagon, the UFC will be paying him his show money. Dias' salary remains undisclosed and difficult to speculate on as he's only fought in Brazil under a commission that does not report fighter pay. The UFC also indicated that they intend to get Dias scheduled soon.

Dias stands at 1-1 in the UFC. He defeated Yuri Alcantara by unanimous decision in his promotional debut at UFC 147, but lost via the same method in his second showing against Nik Lentz at UFC on FX 8.
