UFC on FOX 6: Johnson vs. Dodson fight card

Tom Szczerbowski-US PRESSWIRE

The UFC's last two Illinois card were anything but stellar. UFC on FOX 2 was short on excitement on the main card, and UFC 90 saw an unfortunate ending to the main event of Anderson Silva vs. Patrick Cote. UFC on FOX 6 absolutely should be a textbook example of "3rd time is the charm". This is a great card from top to bottom and should provide plenty of excitement.

Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson fight for what the UFC and FOX claim is the "World Championship". Presumably they can come in at any weight they want. Rampage Jackson's final UFC fight is against Glover Teixeira in the co-main. The best chance for FOTN is clearly Donald Cerrone against Anthony Pettis. Erik Koch and Ricardo Lamas complete this fairly WEC-heavy main card.

The FX prelims feature Clay Guida's featherweight debut against Hatsu Hioki, T.J. Grant against Matt Wiman, and Mike Russow's hammerfist of doom.

There were two late changes to the Facebook card. Swedish middleweight Magnus Cedenblad is out of his fight with Rafael Natal, so in steps Sean "Black Magik" Spencer on short-notice. And yes, his nickname is really "Black Magik". Josh Janousek also replaces Buddy Roberts against Michael Kuiper.
