UFC On Fox 4 Medical Suspensions: Swick, Varner Out Up To Six Months

The California State Athletic Commission released the medical suspensions from Saturday's UFC on Fox 4 card in Los Angeles, and many of the fighters are going to be sitting out for a while. Five major suspensions were issued, three of which went to main card fighters Mike Swick, Jamie Varner, and DaMarques Johnson. Ryan Bader: 45 days no contest, 30 days no contact; KO/TKO

Jamie Varner: indefinite; needs orthopedist clearance of right hand
Jamie Varner: 180 days no contest, 180 days no contact, or cleared by physician; possible fracture

Mike Swick: 180 days no contest, 180 days no contact, or cleared by physician; right ankle and elbow
Mike Swick: 60 days no contest, 60 days no contact, or cleared by physician; cut right eye lid
Demarques Johnson: 45 days no contest, 30 days no contact; KO/TKO
Demarques Johnson: indefinite; needs neurological clearance
