So I have been training BJJ for almost coming up on 3 years and I have been having a bit of a form slump. I took a holiday and didn't train very much now i am back to training and while i feel good I wanted to talk to others about their training and what they are focusing on, in the hope that it gives me some ideas in how i can change my BJJ to push me to the next level.
I am quite tall (190 cm / 6'2") I play lots of guard with DLR/Spider/ deep half guard being my best guards. Lately i have been trying to sweep only from the bottom and play my top game more. but as i have not been playing much top game its the hardest part for me to work.
In terms of things i am trying to work on:
X-guard / butterfly guard from the bottom.
From the top im trying to work my mount/back control.
