UFC Re-Schedules Three More Fights From Canceled UFC 151 Card

The UFC is slowly but surely emptying out the rest of their canceled UFC 151 PPV. Today officials confirmed that the following fights would be moved to October and November: Dennis Hallman vs. Thiago Tavares, John Lineker vs. Yasuhiro Urushitani, and Takeya Mizugaki vs. Jeff Hougland.

Mizugaki had last fought in a controversial decision defeat to Chris Cariaso. The former WEC title challenger is in a must-win situation, as is his opponent Jeff Hougland, who was thrashed by Yves Jabouin.

Urushitani was knocked out of the Flyweight tournament semifinals by Joseph Benavidez back in March, while Lineker lost a FOTN debut to Louis Gaudinot via submission at UFC on FOX 3. This was originally scheduled for the main card of 151 and its status is unknown for the Macau event.

Hallman and Tavares are probably tired of their fight being moved around, as it was scheduled for UFC 150 earlier this month, then moved to 151, then briefly rumored to return to 150 only to stay on 151, and now it will be the 14th fight on a loaded FX card. Tavares has won his last two fights against Sam Stout and Spencer Fisher, while Hallman submitted John Makdessi with ease at UFC 140 last December. This was also scheduled for the main card of 151 but it's unknown if it will remain that way on FX.

The remaining fights without a home are Dennis Siver vs. Eddie Yagin, Daron Cruickshank vs. Henry Martinez, and Tim Means vs. Abel Trujillo.
